My Sweet Lolly

Yesterday, 4/4/2008, our sweet Red Lory, Lolly, passed away. She was ill for the past 4 months. She was only 5 or 6. She was supposed to live to be at least 28 years... We are not sure why she got ill or what she was ill with... We tried everything within our power to save her... She was a sweet, loving, fun, soul and we will miss her GREATLY.

With love, in memory of Lolly...

Jumper

Just saw 'Jumper', with my wife and father-in-law. My wife and I went to dinner together (compliments of my father-in-law) and then joined up with father-in-law for movie... I give it B/B-. It wasn't bad. Wasn't 'super-great', but wasn't bad. Plus, I was in an extra good mood because I was able to have a great dinner with a wonderful person, my Sweetie.

Happy V-Day everyone.

My First Random Thought

As I get closer to finishing the second iteration of the website for Reflections of Christ, I am continually amazed at what an incredible product Magnolia has turned out to be. As someone that has been developing with Day Communique for the past several years, it has been a pleasure and a treat to learn and implement a site with Magnolia.

You see, a few years back the people at Day open sourced their core, content management system. Right after that happened, a few of the people at Day left and started Magnolia and built their own version of a Web Content Management System off of the open-sourced 'core'. As far as I can tell, the folks at Magnolia were looking to 'right' some of the 'wrongs' of the aforementioned product.

Anyhow, I know this all sounds insanely boring. However, it is my random thought of the day...

Cheers,

Todd
